Gregorio J.C.F. DE SOUSA, Ambassador of East Timor to Korea, and embassy staff discussed the contents of the curriculum for students preparing to study abroad at Sehan University (President Seunghoon Lee, Ph.D. in Business Administration) in the September semester of 2023, and visited educational facilities and Korean language schools. In the conference room at the university headquarters, explanations and questions were exchanged about Korean language education methods and contents, liberal arts subjects, and after-school activities. In particular, interest was expressed in Taekwondo and soccer as after-school activities.

Next, we toured the Central Library, Guam Hall (Main Auditorium), computer room, gymnasium, soccer field, baseball field, and golf driving range, and then watched a demonstration by Taekwondo students.

Professor Choi Gong-jip of the Department of Taekwondo presented the ambassador with a Taekwondo uniform with the Taegeuk mark engraved on it.
The ambassador expressed his gratitude for the wonderful Taekwondo demonstration and Taekwondo uniform gift from our university, which is fostering the Taekwondo Department.

After completing the university visit schedule, we stopped by the Kim Dae-jung Nobel Peace Prize Memorial Hall to hear an explanation of President Kim Dae-jung's Nobel Peace Prize award, and also introduced the achievements of East Timor's current President Jose Ramos Horta, also a Nobel Peace Prize winner, and his relationship with President Kim Dae-jung.

The ambassador and embassy staff expressed satisfaction with our university's facilities and educational programs and hoped that international students would successfully complete all courses at our university and become great contributors to the development of East Timor.
